OpenScape Business provides two alternative flavours of Unified Communications, depending on the needs:
UC Smart
UC Smart SW is fully embedded within the OpenScape Business SW running on the V3 Mainboard of OpenScape Business X1/X3/X5/X8 or OpenScape Business S.
It comprises the following Unified Communications and Collaborations features:
- Presence incl. status based announcements
- Conference planned/adhoc
- Favourites List incl. Call Status
- Directories
- Call Journals incl. Reminder
- Status based Call Forwarding
- Call Control (CTI) incl. dialing by hotkey
- Visual VoiceMail Control
- Instant Messaging (Chat)
- Web Collaboration
The UC Smart solution offers two clients:
- myPortal @work (WebRTC based UC and telephony)
- Unify Phone for OpenScape (cloud based WebRTC Client for mobile/Desktop)

UC Suite SW is fully embedded within the OpenScape Business SW running on the V3 Mainboard of OpenScape Business X1/X3/X5/X8 or OpenScape Business S.
